Pomtayer
Pom or pomtayer is a very well-known Surinamese preparation of the root of the arrowleaf elephant ear (‘tayer’ in Dutch and Surinamese) plant. This is used in cooking throughout Central America and parts of South America. It is the pinnacle of comfort food!
