Ssamjang onion compote
Ssamjang is a dipping sauce from Korean cuisine based on gochujang, doenjang, sesame and garlic. This gives a complex depth to the onion compote. Sambaizu is used for this onion compote, you can make the sambaizu yourself or use a Japanese sambai vinegar.
